There is a flame burning brightly
Just beyond your physical sight.
It is never diminished,
Never exhausted,
Never wavering
For it is your guiding light,
Your soul’s call to be what you are.
You will not find it in the world
For it is not material,
Nor is it part of any cultural
Or religious beliefs.
It is always accessible,
But it is not easily discerned
For it has been masked
By layer upon layer of misconception.
But if you keep looking
Toward Inner Self
And keep letting go
Of all the debris,
Then it will become clear
And you will find
That it is the only thing
You ever truly desired.
