Let us fully engage in the darkness of this day
Let us embrace the light that shines through
And let us rejoice for we are blessed to be here
Now, in this time and place, being, creating,
Living the ideas that touch our hearts and minds.
Imagine the Soul’s desire for unity and love
Being fulfilled this day with the very next choice.
Imagine the Life force flowing through
All things in a healing, invigorating way.
Picture all of life radiant and joyful simply
Because it is.
I Am that I Am chose to be you and me
Isn’t that a wonder! Why squander
This gift of life on what doesn’t matter.
There is so much love to share in every manner
A smile, a song, an egg boiled with love
A bridge built, a clean space, a rocket, a hug.
It matters not what I am doing, I can choose
To let it be an act of love with my intention.
Today I let the darkness inform the light
I give thanks for the changing seasons of my life
For every ending is a new beginning
And there is nothing but my stubborn clinging
That can hold me back from a fresh new start.
What has been, has been; I bless it.
What is to be is a mystery; I bless it.
What is now is eternally connected to before and after
And it is the moment where all blessing is.
I celebrate the passing of yet another solstice
With joy and gratitude and love overflowing.

A time of reflection and thanksgiving
For it reminds me that life is precious,
Ever in motion.
Sometimes there is more darkness than light
But that is ever changing and today a new cycle begins.
