One more Christmas has passed, and it was a lovely time; so much to be grateful for.

Now we’re in that space between Christmas and New Year’s that is a prefect time for rest, relaxation and reflection (especially when it’s -30C and the best place to be is at home). I was feeling pretty tired after Christmas so I’m really appreciating this time of quiet peace.

One of the things I was talking about on Sunday had to do with growing into our vision and if we don’t have a clear vision, this is a good time to work on that. And even when we do have a clear vision for life going forward and what we want to evolve into, this is a good time to review, reflect and update. So, I’ve started doing that today in my morning pages. I’ve had some further, deepening thoughts but I decided to stay with it instead of stopping with what has revealed itself so far. This is a new habit I am working on which I find to be very worthwhile.

As I’ve mentioned before, I have this tendency to get insights on the questions I ask of the Universe and quickly move on to the next thing. My Spiritual Director helped me to see the limitations in this for which I am truly grateful. Why stop at the first insight when there may very well be so much more? So, this week that is my project, keep exploring my vision and what that might look like now and see where it takes me.

This is my idea of a fun project that fits perfectly with rest, relaxation and reflection. What’s yours?

Namaste
