There seems to be a lot afoot these days in the internal world. I haven’t been blogging much for whatever reason, but the process continues. This morning I felt heavy of heart and as I journaled I could really see and feel how the illusions were continuing to fall away and that tends to lead to some really humbling realizations.
As difficult as it may be, I am grateful for these times because what I want is to live as much in the truth as I can and that isn’t always so easy given how deeply some of the falsehoods are ensconced in the unconscious.
With all that going on and given that it is the summer solstice, I chose to write the prayer/meditation service I shared on Zoom today instead of reading one of Silent Unity’s. Now I am choosing to share it with you with my love and showers of blessings.
Summer Solstice Prayer/Meditation
We come together on this day of light to honour and celebrate the true Light, the light of God which shines in our very souls. In this light we realize our Oneness with all of Creation. As we join in prayer and meditation, we open our hearts and minds to the One Light that lights our way throughout our lives…
In the light of Peace, I embrace all of life as it is.
As the light shines bright on the world around me, I take this precious moment to breathe in the delight of creation exactly as it is. There is no conflict within as I realize the perfection of imperfection and let go of my small ideas of how things should be. My heart, mind and soul are aligned in peace, in the silence…
Bathing in the Light of Divine Love, I awaken to great compassion.
On this day of the summer solstice, I rest and am renewed in the light of love which surrounds and infuses all of creation. I recognize that Love is the way regardless of circumstance or appearance. My heart fills with compassion for all as I focus on the heart of Love, in the silence…

Blessed are we for this time we have shared together on this Summer Solstice. As we bring our time of prayer and meditation to a close, we feel and appreciate the blessing we have shared here, and we extend it to everyone we encounter throughout the rest of our day. We return to the activities of our daily lives with renewed peace, love, possibility, and appreciation. We know God’s presence and activity is in every part of our lives and throughout creation.
